Team Elgen Captures Championship!

TEAM ELGEN (From L to R): Jim Korn, Arthur Huger, Luis Dominguez, Matthew Alberti, David Young, Joey Turkalj

The Championship Game went into DOUBLE OVER-TIME: Team Elgen 34 :: Team Testa 32

Both teams had slow starts but Team Testa took the lead ending the 1st half with a 11 point lead. Team Testa managed to hold the lead nearly through the entire second half. However, Team Elgen kept chipping away closing the lead to within three points when Matthew Alberti, with less than 5 seconds left in the game, drained a 3 pointer to tie the game, 28 - 28. This would ultimately take Team Elgen into two overtimes where they fought to overtake Team Testa and become the Champions for our Fall 2011 Men's Basketball Gruppe B League.
